Title: Scotland People's record - one maiden surname that I can't decipher
Post by: nicdigby on Saturday 16 December 23 22:25 GMT (UK)
Would be grateful for your help with this marriage record from the 1890s in Glasgow please.
I have done the rest of it but cannot decipher the maiden surname of the mother and need it to go back a generation. Can anyone decipher it please?

Father: Albert ZumBach, general merchant, and Amanda ZumBach, M. S [?].

I am getting confused...  :D

The text in some of nicdigby's posts has disappeared - at least on my computer.

The screenshot in #8 is Johanna's death certificate, right?

The parents' names shown there are, as ss says, Hans Andreas Behrmann & Betty Louise Krohn
