I strongly suspect, on the basis of my DNA links to a Norwegian person, that his mother is actually the daughter of my British great uncle and not the Norwegian she thinks is her father.
I am wondering if there is any way my great uncle was able to meet and spend time with a Norwegian woman during WW2 and wonder if it could have happened during the Norwegian campaign when the RAF was involved in protecting Norway.
My great uncle was a class F reservist in the RAF during WW2. I have joined Forces War Records and am able to get his service number, class and when he first joined up. Is there any way of knowing where he was during WW2? I can’t find any thing more than the basics above.
