Hello,
I am looking for confirmation and potentially more information on a marriage between a Thomas Turner and Caroline Slee.
I've managed to find one of their children's birth records in Novia Scotia which very helpfully noted their parents' marriage date and place: July 22nd 1864, Alderney, England, L.J. (not sure what the initials are in reference to)
So essentially, I am hoping there is a record to confirm this and if said record holds any more information about them?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Thomas was in the military so it may have been recorded in an Army Chapel.

Caroline 37 born Jersey
Walter 15 born Ireland
Eliza 14 born at sea

Daisy under 2 months born Gloucestershire.
Frederick 1877, Bertie 1880 and Daisy 1881 were all registered in Barton Regis. with mothers maiden name Slee

Thomas Turner must have died after the census as Caroline Turner age 38 married Isaac Cloughley age 39 registered Horfield Gloucestershire 1882.
Her father Joseph Slee
His father James Cloughley

From the baptism of Bertie 25 Feb. 1880 (born 19 December 1879) and Thomasin Daisy 12 June 1881 (born 11 March 1881) both at Horfield Holy Trinity father Thomas is a Private with 61st.
Baptism conducted by Fanshaur? Bingham acting Chaplin for the troops
Perhaps a record of the 61st regiment would locate the marriage register.

Thanks for responding. I'll look further into the Army Chapel idea.
