Hi Everyone, hit a brick wall with this one Dorris Oldham born 22 Feb 1909 Sheffield Bap 10 Mar 1909 can be found in the 1911 Census with her Parents Henry Oldham & Mary Annie Oldham Nee Hibert and 5 Siblings Street Address -235 1 In Twenty Court Allen St Sheffield, I cant find anymore after that I can't see a death for her so assume she has got married but nothing concrete comes up on Ancestry or Family Search any help appreciated. Rich

Doris - not Dorris but if born Feb 1909 would have expected her birth to be registered in March qtr

Have you found her parents on the 1921 census?

1930 marriage on freebmd is a possibility.  Check the 1939 register to see if birthdate matches

There are also other Doris Oldham marriages in Sheffield

No access to 1921 records but father died 1933 and the mother Mary Annie can be found with her son Ronald Oldham born 11 May 1921 occupation Painter and single in the 1939 census record in Sheffield

Using the birthdate given in your post - look at the 1939 entry for Doris OLDHAN - mistranscribed

The 1939 census record Spelt Doris Oldhan correct birth of 22 Feb 1909 has Doris Morley underneath then Doris Oldham and there is a Marriage to a Earnest G Morley in 1963 in Sheffield so could be on the right track I will cross check Sheffieldindexers burials to see if I can pick them up together.

The only Ernest G Morley death I can find was 2003 Sussex - born 1907.  Can’t find anything for Doris

Thanks Carole just nothing concrete on the marriage to earnest Morley, Doris would also have been 54 at the time and back then they were usually married in there 20s I may join findmypast so I can have access to the 1921 records got plenty of other problems it could help with having the same problem with her sister Edith Oldham born 15 June 1913 Bap 29 June 1913 same thing nothing concrete to go on at least with access to 1921 census will give me a starting point, Area and so on, as always thank you for you help much appreciated. Info only, Ernest George Morley born 17th April 1907, baptised 26th May 1907,Merstham, St Katharine, Surrey, England. Parents George ( occupation Carman) & Alice Maud.

Appears in 1921 census with parents in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

I think I've found them on 1921 census living at 234 Allen St.

Henry , Mary Ann and 6 children including Doris aged 12 and Edith aged 8.
