Hi,
Is it possible for some-one to view the parish register for St Mary the Virgin at Stansted Mountfichet for the baptism of Thomasin Chalk on 3 May 1697.
The information I have is that the female child is base born to Thomas Chalk of Great Hallingbury without a mention of the mother; which I find unusual.
I am hoping there is something else on the page that may have been missed.
Many thanks, Colin

Firstly, my apologies for not responding sooner. I shouldn't ask questions late on a Friday when I have a busy weekend ahead.
Thanks to suffolk*sue for the baptism register information; disappointing but not unexpected.
Now to ColC; I think that is Thomas Chalk having further children and I believe the marriage is in 1707 at Hatfield Broad Oak to Mary Seach.
Mary can't be the mother as she was baptised 1685 at Hatfield Broad Oak making her only 12 when Thomasin was baptised.
Ahppy to look at any ideas others may have.
Cheers, Colin
