My mother was employed as a House servant at Pasture Hill Farm North Sunderland, Northumberland in 1926-1928 and I am trying to find who the Farmer was who farmed there. I don't have access to the 1921 census and as I don't have a name I cannot use the 1939. I have trialled through the 1911 the surrounding Parishes for that address but have come up with nothing. It is important as my mother had a child to the famers son in 1928 and although now dead I would like to show the fathers name against that child.

We are not allowed to do 1921 census look ups. Have you tried the free search facility on FindMyPast.
Have you tried an address search in 1939

Thank you . There is no fathers name on my sisters birth certificate but my mum said the father was the famers son who had promised to marry her but changed his mind. My mum was born in 1906. All party's are now dead including my mums sister so there is no one to ask.
-
Fred could have been married before as he was born c1891
-
Looking at the 1921 census there are 2/3 families who's head of household work for Fred Hodgson and have sons who could have possibly fathered a child in 1928.

Thank you for your help Fred Hodgson didn't marry till 1920 and only had one daughter. His brother Harrison farmed near by and had a son 2 years younger than my mother though, whether he was my sisters father is questionable. It unlikely I will find the answer.

Perhaps a DNA test will solve your problem
-
I did a test a couple of years ago but and it came up with 4 2nd cousins none of who had tree's on Ancestry so I sent them all a message 3 didn't reply and one said she was adopted and didn't know anything but wasn't interested.

Sorry, do you mean your sister did a DNA test :-\
