This is a long shot question. I came across this information regarding Roll of Honour for Sydney Desmond Titterington and, I am curious to know whether he was related.
It's not a common name, but drew my attention to it.
The only connection to Australia was my Grandmother and her family who went to Australia in July 1927.Sadly they passed away.

Most of my Titterington ancestors were from Lancashire. Thank you very much for this information.

His service record is on the National Archives of Australia website. Use record search and type in his name and click on RAAF.

1921 census has Abraham, born 1887, Witherslack, Westmorland, wife Mary Alice, born, 1892, New South Wales, Aus. & a son, John Todd Titterington, born 1916, Sydney. Also what looks like a brother & sister of Abraham, Frederick A. b 1881 & Isabella, b 1885. Residing Prestwich, Lancs.
1901 census has Abraham with parents, John & Jane in Pendleton, Lancs. & 4 siblings, Arthur, Isabella, William & John.

Thank you for the information. I don't think he is an Ancestor as I can't seem to make the connection.
