Title: Marybeth Miller-Taken November 1953 in USA
Post by: joyce2805 on Wednesday 20 September 23 06:38 BST (UK)
Hello,
On Friday, September 15, 2023, I submitted a photo for colorizing and restoration.  By September 19, I had not learned if the photo was accepted.  It showed as pending approval and I wrote Customer Support asking if perhaps I made an error in submitting it.  I see today that it has disappeared from the files.  Just curious as to what happened.

I am trying once again hoping that someone might please be interested in helping me.  The photo was scanned at 1200 DPI and was 406KB.  I was requesting auburn hair and hazel eyes with a medium blue dress with white trim.  Any information or assistance is very much appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello Joyce... might I ask on what type of scanner did you scan this on at 1200 DPI. Is the photo a genuine photograph or a copy of a sort?It looks very posterized. Almost like an effect has already been applied to it. Did you do any post processing after scanning??? Like in a phot app of some sort? Some nice tries at it already by Lords, RJ and Hoobalo...

Was just wondering if we could get you to produce a better upload.

Greetings... I know you are looking for a color... but I tried cleaning it up a bit first. Gonna take a stab at color tomorrow. Already seeing some great renditions.

Had a little time before I closed up shop and shut down the machines. I HAVE TO ADMIT... I was inspired by RJ's color. I hope you don't mind me taking my inspiration from you RJ.

Sammy, Hi

This is absolutely stunning!  I can't stop viewing her face.  The complexion and coloring are exceptional. Love the lavender/purple dress.  This is so impressive and I love everything you have done.  Thank you for your kindness and for sharing your wonderful talent with me.
