Title: Norman Stanley Bridges
Post by: salclem on Monday 11 September 23 19:50 BST (UK)
Hello, I'm trying to trace Norman Stanley Bridge's war records. Some of the family claim he was in the Fleet Air Arm, and others say he was a submariner.
I've looked for him in both but can't find anything. He was born in 1923 Pontypool then moved to Coventry.
Any ideas or tips as to what to try next please?
Many thanks, Sal

Thank you, I thought it might be the only source. Best wishes, Sally

Ancestry has

All UK, Navy Lists, 1888-1970

He isn’t showing on there

"This database includes multiple volumes of the Navy List, the Royal Navy’s official published list of officers."

If Norman was not an officer, then he will not be in this list.
