Title: Identify Army uniforms
Post by: Shaky120 on Sunday 10 September 23 11:51 BST (UK)
Hey, Is Anyone able to offer any insight into the British uniforms, This is son and father both probably around 1916 kind of time. But struggling to find confirmed service records for them, both would have stayed in Glasgow area. Not sure if anyone can see any identifying marks that might confirm regiment etc. Chancing my luck but thought would ask.

Many thanks in advance

Hi Shaky, It would be a good idea to give their names and dates of birth.

It looks like the armbands were worn by RE  (Royal Engineers) Signallers.

I agree with Carol on the first guy (the son?) being Royal Engineers (Signals). The second man is harder to be sure about, but I think his capbadge may be Army Vetinery Corps
