I want to view the Marriage record of Mary Ann Riddell (also listed as Riddett) and James Elliott. I have the reference to this record via ancestry.
The marriage date is 4 Nov 1822, at St. Mary's Church, Portsea, Hampshire, England.
FHL Film Number: 1596294
Reference ID: Page 118 #353.
I'm not sure this is the correct record - the Mary Ann & James I am looking for have a somewhat unique age gap for the time - she is 7 or 8 years his senior.
Any tips on how I can do this? Thank you!

This film number quoted is one of the Bishops Transcripts of St Mary's at Portsea.
It is a familysearch.org film.
Unfortunately it is 'locked' which means you can only view it at a familysearch library, or an affiliate library - some central libraries are classed as 'affiliate' - you could check your nearest one if you don't live near a familysearch centre where they have a family history research facility.
Sometimes you can view films of parish registers etc at home as long as you are logged into familyserach.org - it's free and well worth doing as they hold nearly all of the films you would otherwise see on sites like findmypast and ancestry.
Familysearch also hold the films for the actual registers for St Mary's, but again these are locked. 8065792.
There is however a search facility on the film. This marriage does indeed appear. There is no other information given in the transcript of the marriage, so it may be their ages are not given. You are right to check it out though - they just may be.
Added:
For anyone else looking, Freereg doesn't have Portsea Registers transcribed yet.

I'm afraid that ages were not recorded on marriage records at that date. It was only after civil registration was introduced on 1 July 1837 that there was a column for the age. Even then, it might only be entered as 'of full age' - meaning 21 or over.

FindMyPast has the image of this marriage entry. No ages - bachelor and spinster, both of this parish. Both signed the register. Witnesses are Rich'd Gudge and Elizabeth Riddett (x).

Witnesses are Rich'd Gudge and Elizabeth Riddett (x).
Just for information, Richard Gudge was the parish clerk at St Mary Portsea.

Thank you all so much, I appreciate the help! I'll just need to keep digging so see if I can confirm that Mary Ann Riddell is indeed my ancestor.
