Hi all, in 2005 I was looking to go back further with Frederick William Born. Knowing he was from Prussia and was born circa 1841 was about it. I’ve just started to look on family search and they have a possible match with a Friederich Willhelm Born 1841 in Flakenheid,Gramenz, Pommern, Prussia. Does anyone have any knowledge of this place? The parents are down as Ferdinand Born and Friederika Goede. Thank you, Phil.

Thank you very much for pointing this out to me. Alas I’ve just pulled out His wedding cert again and it has his father down as Willhelm too. That’s unless he also Anglisised his name!
