Out of curiosity, does anyone know if digitisation of the Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire parish registers is in the pipeline by Ancestry, FindMyPast or anyone? I know there are some good transcriptions from the family history societies, but it’s not quite the same as the images!

Its been a while but I'm sure FindmyPast has Bedfordshire records.
I accessed a shedload a few years ago when I found some spare coin in my pockets and got a subscription

There are some transcriptions of Bedfordshire records on FindMyPast but not the images; the Hertfordshire ones are on there though.
I know that Ancestry is putting the Cambridgeshire records online before the end of the year, and are digitising Suffolk also, was hoping that Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire might be in the pipeline too.

Some Bucks records are on FindMyPast, no images but some are taken from bishops transcripts so the witnesses to the 1754 onwards marriage may not be included for some parishes. But have seen them for others. Marsh Gibbon is a parish of interest for my Smith lot.

Does Cambridgeshire include Huntingdonshire?
The most recent Bedfordshire Archives Annual Report says
Preliminary discussions were held with the three major online publishers of family history material over
a possible digitisation project and survey work was carried out by our conservator in relation to this.
It's very vague!

Not sure about Huntingdonshire sorry, I do hope so!
That is vague, but sounds promising that it’s on the cards :)
