I have a relative who died on a ship the Volta on 10Jan 1892
I am struggling to find out any more information other than

Birth year/place 1866 Cheshire according to the links below. He was a cook & butcher. Birth reg on freebmd. He was Thomas Bedford Porch mmn Bedford. Possible marriage for parents 1851 but not in Cheshire

I see that Thomas is on the 1891 and it looks as though his father died and mother Sarah remarried to a Thomas McKinley.
Thomas is a butcher.

Yes ty then he dies at sea in Dec 1892 due I can't seem to find any information as to how he died ?
