I am looking for the marriage of Johnston & Margaret (née Hunter) McLean around 1800s in Girvan.
They had the following children, All born in Girvan:
Mary Mcclean (born abt. 1806)
Elizabeth Mcclean (born abt. 1812)
Margaret Mcclean (born abt. 1814)
Agnes Mcclean (born abt. 1820)
Johnstone Mcclean (born abt. 1822)
Thomas Mcclean (born abt. 1824)
Thanks in advance.
Moderator comment: edited to give correct forename for the mother.

Have you checked ScotlandsPeople at all? Girvan births/baptisms are covered for that period. Indexes are free to search, but if you wish to view any image, then you would need to purchase credits. However, familysearch.org (free account available) will give you the transcription, but no image.

Sorry, I should have said that if they married in Girvan, no marriages are recorded between 1794 and 1825. See the detailed coverage of OPR here:

Where should I contact for the marriages through 1794 and 1825?
-
Nowhere. The point is that the relevant register has not survived, so the information does not now exist.

You may find the full research guides on Scottish OPRs helpful, available here:

There are also various helpful pointers here on RootsChat - see the Scotland board.
