Title: Tinkler/Gable family

Bit of a random one but I hope someone might be able to help.

Ancestry DNA is matching me to lots of people (paternal matches) with links to this family. It looks like my gt gt gt grandparents are James Tinkler (1830 - 1876), and Emma Gable (1837 - 1914)

However this is where it gets messy. I have zero connections to them which raises the question as to whether my father is my father (a very real possibility), or whether his parentage is in question (all his brothers sisters, and parents are deceased so no way to check)

I have an extensive tree for his side of the family but not a single DNA match to anyone related to anyone on the tree

I don't suppose anyone on here has links to the Tinkler or Gable line who knows of any links to South Wales?

The Tinkler/Gable marriage was 1860 in Kent

1861 shows James was b Huntingdonshire & Emma in Lewisham

1841 shows James parents were John & Virtue - both b Hunts.  Looking at youngest daughters birth reg Virtue was nee Taine

1841 shows Emma's parents were Joseph & Jane nee Walker both b Lewisham

No Welsh connection at that time
