Occ: Carter /Servant
1871 Census
2 nd Battalion Grenadier Guards
Place: St. Margaret, Westminister, Middlesex, England
District: St. Margaret
Would appreciate to know of what year he died or might have been buried in a veterans cemetery.
Any information would be appreciated.

Any idea if he married?  No sign of him in 1881 census?

Maybe died abroad on active service?

They also fought in the Napoleonic Wars, Waterloo (1815), Crimea (1854-56). Tel-el-Kebir (1882) the Boer War (1899-1902) ...
