Hi all, been researching an incident in WW2 when the aircraft ND922 was lost over Stuttgart on July 25, 1944. Any info or photos of this man would be truly appreciated. Thanks for reading. Very best wishes, Mark.

Is it the same incident as this post? Death dates the same

It is helpful if you would post the link to the cwgc entry on any similar requests as it often gives parents/siblings names

Hi CaroleW
The OP has several threads going, this one is for a different man.
-
Yes - but this one appears to have the same date of death so wondered if it was the same incident.
-
Yes, I think they are all the crew of a single Lancaster bomber. Ernest Pattison was the Flight Engineer.
-
I am wondering how Mark intends to use any info found as there are living relatives of some of the people named

Thanks for your help so far. I am hoping to publish a book on the service record of Joseph Wheeler to raise some money for Parkinson's. Aiming to add a tribute to the crew members of his aircraft (ND922) which was shot down over Stuttgart on July 25, 1944. I have Joseph's flying log book which is a massive help. Mark
