I hope you will be able to enhance this photo.   Maybe someone will be able to tell me if I have his rank correct as an RAF Flight Sergeant.

Arthur Needham. A quick try. I would say you are correct, has an aircrew brevet and possible indication of a whistle right breast.

My Son is a Flight Sergeant (Air Crew) and he has the same half brevet on the left and the patch on the right has his surname and number.
