On the 1921 census it is noted that my father aged 7 attended St Pauls school, they lived in Hathershaw, Oldham... his father worked at Vale Mill
I have not yet found were Vale Mill and St Pauls school were.. St Pauls church is not far away and was the place where some of my family married
Any help finding these two places would be appreciated
Cheers

Thank you Heywood.. just drove up Ashton Road on Google maps.. looks like St Pauls church has gone
I don't remember the school but the red brick building may be the place.
Drove along Chapel Road, used to travel on the road everyday, I don't remember Vale Mill but I know the area on the map.
Cheers.
