Hi all, this is a picture of the Wade Family, in Shipley, West Yorkshire.
For ethics, everyone in this photograph has since passed.
I'm hoping that somebody could please help me date this photograph, probably not by clothing, but by children's ages.
Charlotte Wade b 1888 (nee Sugden) With her Children
Top Row Left to Right.
Sarah Ann Wade b 1909 (Although there's a reason she looks younger, so we can't use her for dating this photograph)
George Wade b 1911
Middle Row - Left to Right
Here's where my dating problems arise if the youngest child is Mary Wade born 1928, it would mean this photograph was taken around 1929-1930 making Wilfred and George 16/17 and 18/19 years old respectively, which I ultimately struggle to believe.

I was told to be Ethel Wade b 1921 and She does look about 8/9 to me. But this isn't for certain just family assumptions!
If the youngest child is not Mary wade and instead is Ethel Wade, it would make Wilfred about 10, and George about 12, which is more plausible, but possibly even too young, but it would mean that I had no Idea who the bottom girl is, and I haven't found a GRO INDEX to say she had a daughter that could be in this photograph, unless someone else could possibly find one.
I know that Charlotte had many children that died at young ages to David Wade b1888.
John Wade b 1906 d 1906
Arthur Wade b 1907 d 1910
Horace Wade b 1915 d 1917
Now obviously these are out of the question for more reasons than one, but its the fact that there could be many more.
Unfortunately I can not see if Charlotte Had any other Children that died young as GRO index doesn't show mothers maiden name past 1923.
Hoping that somebody could possibly either help identify the child it could be using the GRO index, or possibly give a rough idea of the year of this photograph, based on her Children's Ages and birth years. I want to identify this photograph properly but it is proving difficult.
Charlotte, Wilfred, George, and Sarah Ann, are definitely who I have said they are.
Sorry for making the above so long winded and trivial. In short, I would please like your help with your opinions on ages, so I can get a rough idea of who is who, and when.
Again, there's a reason Sarah Ann Wade could look younger, and so she may not be the best in regards of her age resulting in a date of this photograph, but of course opinions are still welcome.

Have you missed Harry born 1917?
Also the baby in the photo could be a boy. I would not assume it is a female child.
Added_ looks as if Harry died age 1

I am going to suggest the photo is dated about 1925, and you have with mother Charlotte:
Sarah Ann – born 1909 (age about 16)
George - born 1911 (age about 14)
Wilfred - born 1913 (age about 12)
Ethel - born 1921 (age 4-5)
John - born 1923 (age 2-3)
Look forward to seeing what others think.

Ahh I also hadn't got John down thanks for that! Looks like John died 1923 also, so possibly not him ???. My auntie recalls the family well:
Sarah Ann
George
Wilfred
Ethel
and Mary
Were the only Wade's to reach adulthood, so the 1923 death could possibly correct. (and all she recalls is those 5 siblings, but knows about the many infant passings Charlotte had) But thats not say John could have lived longer ???
I also stupidly hadn't even considered the fact the baby could be a boy, so thanks for that also.

I would think photo somewhere in 1920's to 1925
Charlotte about 32
Sarah 11/12
George 13/14
Baby 18mths/2yrs
Wilfred 9/10
Ethel 6/7
I have used names you have given but put ages I think possible so they could be one of other children.
I am just going on what my grandchildren looked at those ages it is difficult to be exact as you know there can be quite a few differences in children!!

That was my problem, I don't have any younger relatives to compare ages to ;D ;D
