Title: Frederick Dewhirst B 1876 Unknown Father

Hi, I don't know if it's possible to find a father not listed on the baptism record?

Frederick Dewhirst baptised 7 Jul 1878 Barnsley, St Mary, Yorkshire, England

Mother Mary Dewhirst born 1857 Crigglestone
(later married Thomas Henry Silverwood but on the 1881 census Frederick Dewhirst (aged 4) is listed as a visitor so I don't think Silverwood was his father)

Any help would be appreciated as I seem to be at a dead end! Thanks

Did Frederick marry? If so, was a father named on his marriage certificate?

He was actually born Dec qtr 1876 per freebmd
