Hi there, apologies this might get confusing.
I cannot for the life of me trace Samson D 1791 to John Doughty and Ann (Clarson) in any census records. There is a few business directories stating Samson Doughty cricket bat maker in 1862 but anything after that is anyone guess.
There is another Sampson Doughty/Samson Doughty b 1837 Castle Donington, blind maker and marriage to Elizabeth Moore 1860.
There is another marriage record for a Samson Doughty which is the in 1858 to Elizabeth Shipley which is the blind maker Doughty, age fits.
I cant find anything not one single census, no infant death record because of lack of census. Nothing. Can anyone help. Thanks
