Title: Illegible address
Post by: colcal on Sunday 23 April 23 07:40 BST (UK)
Dear All,
I'm hoping some clever person can discipher this address of an informant on his father's death certificate
Kind regards
Colcal

That is a very distorted clip.  Can you perhaps include a bit more of the cert to get some more handwriting and less distortion?
Also where was the death?

So far I see ……….Square ……..Bla……

Agree a better scan would be good. Sometimes reading it from the actual document is easier than from a blown up scan.
It looks like Akeroa Square. There is an Akeroa Avenue in Brunswick Easr Melbourne Australia  Just to be confusing it is in a group of streets that seem to be named for New Zealand places Orari, Temuka, and I guess this may have been meant to be named for Akaroa NZ.

Perhaps Melbourne?
Who knows......but some nice houses in that part of Melbourne so i have learned something!

The third word in the address looks like Glasgow.

Which country is the death cert from?

I think tonepad has this: Skirsa Square.  Compare the 's' in Roberts in the original image with the proposed 's' in Skirsa in both images.  And in the new image compare the 'r' in November with the proposed 'r' in Skirsa in the new image.
