A couple of requests here. Can this tinplate image be improved a little please and can anyone offer any suggestions as to the likely date it was taken from the subject's clothing and/or jewellery. Believed to have been taken in Glasgow.

Tintypes were never that popular it being a cheaper
version of the Ambrotype which had been superseded
by the albumin print in the late 50's which became
the norm by the 60's.
Tintypes arrived around mid 60's & lasted just a few years
so going on that & her hair & dress style I would suggest
late 1860's possibly up to 1870.
She looks quite mature so I would suggest in her 30's although
Loord74's stunner makes her look 10 years younger which I'm
sure she'd be pretty pleased about.
