Title: Marriage Independent Chapel Lincoln 1858

Hello,

Does anyone have access to marriage records for St Gowts in Lincoln, looking for George Miles and Mary Jane Esberger married on 15 Aug 1858 at above church.  Would like to know who he put as father. I've looked on findmypast but couldn't find it.

I’m assuming that you mean St Peter at Gowts? There was a marriage on that date, but not the individuals you name (nor on any date in the register that year).

Lincolnshire Chronicle 20 August 1858
Newspaper states that they were married at the Independent Chapel at St Peter at Gowts on Sunday last

ADDED George was of St Botolphs parish occ Brickmaker

Yes sorry meant St Peter at Gowt. I got that from familysearch site.

Thank you so they married at the Chapel not Church.  Thank you for the info now just need his father's name to make sure I have the right facts.
