I'm wondering if anyone can help me please. I have used Family Search and found a marriage for Eileen Wickins - 10th May 1949 I think the registration number is 11397 or 10397 - writing was a bit blurred. This marriage was for Manhatten Marriages . Now this shows on the Brides Page - how can I find out who she married? Is there a way of cross referencing the number perhaps for the grooms page. Thanks so much in anticipation.

The cert is 11397 and is available free online. Husband is John C Hutjens.

The number you found is for a marriage license, which is what people took out when they planned to get married. It is different from a marriage certificate, which is proof that they got married.
This is a direct link to the license - https://a860-historicalvitalrecords.nyc.gov/view/11585837

Thanks to everyone who added help here - love this site. I'm still not sure how those New York marriage certs work but they have great information on them.
My appreciation
