Title: Looking for a Primitive Methodist Church
Post by: Westward on Saturday 18 March 23 00:08 GMT (UK)
Looking for a church in close proximity to
Cross Street, Golborne.  I believe it was there in the 1920s-1940s, does not appear on current maps.
No idea when it started/closed.

No idea which of these places may be close to Golborne?

thanks

Bridge street, Golborne - with photo.

On a modern map Cross street is parallel to Bridge Street.

GenUKI is my go-to site for such searches!

Go to Lancashire, then Lancashire Towns and Parishes.
Select Golborne, then scroll down to Churches.

Under Methodist you will find:
Bridge St , Golborne, Primitive Methodist
Edge Green Lane, Golborne, Primitive Methodist
Lowton Rd Primitive Methodist, Golborne

Clicking on Bridge St takes you to a page of information and a map.

Thank you so much - much appreciated

Edit: My research has dwindled to a halt over the past many years & a friend asked me about this one. other than the Manchester archives, I had forgotten where to look!
