Hi Everyone,

I have recently had help to translate a marriage entry from German to English (thank you again).  Could I please ask if it would be possible to translate this one too?

Groom - Josef GASCHLER
Bride - Katharina FRANK
Marriage date -August 19, 1850 in Vienna, Austria.

It's a good thing you provided a link. But, you need a subscription to read it (and I don't have one). If you could tell the parish, I can look it up here:

Joseph b. 1851 is my husband's Great Great Grandfather - he was an advisor to Emperor Franz Joseph  in Austria - I believe he died in 1913.

Joseph Gaschler, single, catholic,  born in Boschau (Bohemia) on 13 december 1814, legitimate son of Martin Gaschler, small farmer, and Katharine Nowak (both parents deceased).
adress: Laimgrube 186 Vienna; this is one of many barracks for soldiers in the town; according to the book in following link, it was the home of 'sappeurs' (in English Sappers).

occupation: If I read it well, he was something in the Academy of Engineers. What kind of position he held, I dare not say, but it was military.
