Hello, I would like to have better images for my Granduncle Arthur. He was from North Wales, but emigrated to Australia in 1927. He fought in the Australian Army in WWII, serving first in Palestine, before ending up in Papua New Guinea. I have his 5 WWII medals, and they are to be displayed in a frame, alongside a picture of him in uniform. The pictures have come out a bit grainy, please help to improve the definition? Can the height chart be taken off the last one?
Thank you,
Tarnwater

attached photos are too small for accurate restoration. You can attach up to 500 kb for each photo, it is highly recommended to scan them and re-post.

I agree with Loord, they are far too small and need to be scanned in colour mode and at a resolution of 300 dpi, 600dpi. if the originals are very small.

Not enough to go on for me, sorry:

Like JF, I've had a go at the 3rd image, but the small size and the lines through the other two make it too difficult to enhance them without "making it up"--sorry. (Even the one I did is artificially enhanced, although I did try to keep it as close to the original as possible.) If there's any way you can provide higher resolution images as JF and Carol have suggested, restorers could get really good results for you.

Added: Forgot to mention, in reworking the photo I've made the dimensions about 3X4.

My Try on a couple of them

Sharpened and added some colour on this one

Here's a couple more of the last one. Sorry, I missed your comment about wanting the height chart being removed, when I did the other two.

Another poor attempt :-(
