This is a shot in the dark but I am looking for any information on my late auntie, Kate Singleton.
She was the daughter of John (Jack) Singleton.
She had three sisters and two brothers.
Her family were originally from Dublin but moved to Nottingham in the 1940's.
Not sure if she was born in Nottingham or Dublin, though I suspect Nottingham.
She lived to be an adult though she died at a young age.
I have a lovely photo of her but no other information!
Any info or help is most welcome.

and do you have any information as to who her mother was, finding her birth may give you a better chance of finding her marriage and death ,
one example is Catherine Singleton date of birth 7th June 1916, Dublin father John a labourer and mother Sarah nee Hand, her parents married 1913 Dublin St Andrew, , this Catherine married name Rigby, is with her sister Christina born 1919,Dublin and Mary born 1922 married name Hynes, living in Manchester in 1939,

I can only see one possible marriage spouse Stothard, Nottingham 1962

Sadly I can only see the deaths of Baby Robert Paul, aged 7 weeks death from meningitis , in 1938,
John Patrick born March 9th 1920, father a soldier,
that is a huge gap until their next child in 1928,
And John Patrick married in 1938

Catherine Mary Phelan ahed 15 1/2 years ,spinster of Meath Street, father James,
very young to be getting married, unless one had to, and I see no child for them ,unless George John Singleton mother Phelan was their son born Dublin 1938 ,
Long winded this is when I clicked on the surname Phelan on the ancestry birth record it took me to a burial of Catherine Mary Singleton buried Nottingham 24th August 1987 , is this who the photo may be of the wife of John Patrick Singleton, incidentally there was a Mary Catherine Phelan born Dublin 1923

there is also a Edward Singleton aged 1 ,death 1931 he was actually down as a nurse child in hospital and died of diphtheria
