I have the above marriage to Nellie Chapman and I think that he is on the 1939 census as a bus driver
in Dagenham but I have not found Nellie.
I have traced his death to Brisbane in 1970 and his son Roy Frank Alfred Palmer died there in 2016.
Problem I have is that the Brisbane death records show brief details and whoever registered the death showed his father as Albert and mother Alice. this does not tally . his stepmother was Alice so may be a normal error .. I have his father as Frederick William Palmer.
Does anyone know and have access to Franks marriage to Nellie Chapman to confirm if I have the correct Frank Bertram Palmer.

I would hazard a guess that you may have to purchase the 1923 marriage certificate - the entry is a high page number which suggests a Register Office marriage. :-\

Thank you for your replies.
I had thought that with a name like Frank Bertram Palmer born March q 1896 it would not be too difficult to follow especially when I found a death that fits in Brisbane together with a death in Brisbane of a Roy Frank Alfred Palmer in 2016.
The 1921 census shows them in East Ham and the Frederick G Palmer is Frank Bertrams's younger brother born 1898 who I have recently found by rootschat to have had a twin brother adopted out by a fellow soldier and his wife.
I have been working on this tree for many years and it is only the Brisbane death notification of Frank Bertram Palmer that has caused me to have doubts.
