Title: Help getting military records
Post by: BobWatsit on Sunday 19 February 23 17:59 GMT (UK)
Is there anyone on Rootschat that might help get some details from military records on Fold3 etc.

I am trying to get access to the records for Robert Berry (b1873-1874) he was in the royal artillery and his military number is 67485. He was discharged in 1907 aged 34. We think this will correspond to an ancestor who died 1908.

I would really like to know why he was discharged and also if parents or more importantly a spouse is listed. However any info would be helpful

Hi

Don’t know whether you are aware but most local libraries have free Ancestry access.  Check if yours also includes Fold 3
