Can someone help me please I am looking for Birth parents of Mary Snowdon. and any more information please . What I have so far Mary Snowdon was Born 18th August 1881 and was adopted . I have her on the 1891 census living in Keighley West Yorkshire with her adopted parants Frederick Wild Foulds who was my 2nd  Great Gradgrandfather . Any information would be helpful .

Hi,

Where exactly did you get Mary's birth date from? Was it the 1939 register or have you already seen her baptism entry?

If you haven't seen her baptism entry, she was baptised on 28th May 1882 in Bingley. Her birth date on the entry matches the one you have provided. Her mother was Emma Snowden, spinster, whose residence was George St.

This is the only matching birth registration I can find:

On the 1891 census, Emma is working as a "housekeeper" for Thornton Widdop, which explains Mary's middle name:

 Thank you  that is a great help . I have no idea where I got her birth date from , I did have some information and lost it all  . I seem to think she was a neighbour of the Foulds family in George Street .
