Hi
I'm having trouble deciphering this address from a birth certificate in 1872. Can anyone help with the address in particular?
Thanks
Mark

Maybe 81 West Fountainbridge, Edinburgh.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountainbridge
Quote from the History section of the Wikipedia:
“Fountainbridge was extended as West Fountainbridge in 1869, renamed Dundee Street in 1885.”

Jool got there before me. 81 West Fountain Bridge, Edinburgh

I agree with Jool & Shaun but...
For future, it's always an idea to include important info. such as Parish/District/County/Country.
This one was easy, others not quite so easy i.e. knowing more about the area can be extremely helpful.

Thank you all so much. I would never have guessed that but I'll take on board everything you said about including more details next time if possible.
Thanks again
