Someone gave me this photo of my father from about 1936. He would have been 25 years old in this photo. I only have this copy as the person that gave it to me has passed away. I am hoping that some of you may give him a clean up and what else you think will improve this photo. Maybe remove the other leg in the photo? He passed away in 1979 in Wisconsin.

Oh my! Both of these are great! He was a handsome young man! Thank you!

My try. :)
In cropping the pic I've made the dimensions about 6X10.

I love every version of your work!
I studied them closely today and noticed that loord74 has added a small face in the background! Very interesting!
Looking at this photo, I can see some of my siblings in his face, which I never thought before.
Thank you everyone!

WOW. Lots or horizontal lines. Are they scratches? Did something scrape across the surface? is the photo itself scratched like that - or is it just a plastic holder that is in that is scratched? Couldn't see any easy or quick filter that would remove those. Also... most attempts at using any type of tool that removes the consecutive lines, also modifies or obliterates the original image character shape and detail. Just an early pass. Refining it further would take considerable time.

This photo was sent to me by another cousin and I don't know what the condition of it was. This was most likely taken around 1907-1940, so it was old. Thanks for your work on this. I am happy with all the restores work!
thanks again!
