I would love to trace the descendants of Alec/Alexander Watson born 1892 Darvel, Scotland - fought with the Cameron Highlanders and had emigrated to Eden Ridge, Woodstock by 1943 according to his Pension Record. I have already had a letter printed in the Woodstock Sentinel but received no replies. I have no personal connection with them but would like to alert them to a poem written about him when 'recovering' from his injury. Thanks for any advice on where else to try.
