Hi, trying to figure out the townland in this birth record
Birth of Alice Sullivan, top of page, mother Abby Sullivan
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01s1q/
i think it may be Caherveelane? I'm trying to figure out if the O'Sullivans there are connected to this record.

Thanks in advance!

I think it. Begins with ‘K’ . If you look at John Kelly further down the page - residence Knuttery.

Killavullen?

You could try looking at the Irish Townland Database.
You can insert letters for beginning/end/anywhere in the Townland field and insert the County as Cork.
It is a difficult one.

I tried that Pennines and arrived at that one but it is difficult as you say. :-\

Hi Heywood -- yes I tried it too, but didn't want to commit to a possible suggestion (being a coward!!)

I think it is Killavullen but I don't think it is a Townland but a Parish in North Cork
While the previous link has a map it is not very informative, without lots of scrolling to enlarge and even then it is really not helpful.
From the description
'Our parish is located within Blackwater Valley. It is bounded by the river Awbeg to the north and by the Nagle Mountains in the south. It is traversed by the Mallow-Fermoy road (N72) from east to west and the Mallow to Mitchelstown (N73) road from north to south.'
