Hi
I am on the lookout for information about the Hall family from Airth
Ebineezer Hall married Barbara Horn in Kelty in 1906.
Their children James (abt 1907) Margaret (adt 1911)and Ebineezer (abt1933) were all born in Airth.
I am trying to find their address in Airth and when they moved to Kelty.

In 1911 the family are in Arith and 1921 Kelty, Fife, you can check the address on https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Spelt EBENEZER HALL but I do not see any Valuation Rolls for him?

EBENEZER HALL 82 died 1965 KELTY

I wonder if this is him 2.5 miles from Kelty. He would be with the family in the 1905 Rolls.

Birth registration on SP, there are others 1915-1933.

The births index at Scotland's People has births of James Hall in 1907 and Margaret McDonald Hall in 1911, both in Airth, with mother's maiden surname Horn. You can view both birth certificates at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk for a small fee, and they will tell you the address(es) where they were born and the parents' residence if different.

The birth of Ebenezer Hall in 1933 was registered in both Kelty and Dunfermline, implying that he was born in a district other than the one where his parents lived. Both certificates will provide the same information, but you won't be able to view either online because 1933 is less than 100 years ago. You would have to send away for one of these certificates.

If Ebenezer senior is not listed in the valuation rolls you would need to look at the registers of electors to find out when they moved, but these are not available online so you would need to (get someone to) go to a library and look them up. They should be available in the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh and in reference libraries in Dunfermline and possibly elsewhere in Fife for Kelty and Falkirk/Stirling for Airth.

1925 to 1940 in Gowanlea, Mossgreen st, Beath, Kelty
