My relative S/20694 Thomas Allan Heron of the 4th Battalion Gordon Highlanders died on 6th November 1918 and is buried at Angreau Communal Cemetery, Belgium.
Could anybody help and suggest which battle he may have been killed in please?

His MRI is mistranscribed as Tomas A Heron but no Theatre of war is shown & he only received the British & Victory medals
His regiment is transcribed as London Regiment Gordns
MRI shows 14 Lond R Gordons

Link shows others who were killed on the same daye & are also buried in that cemetery

He in fact received both the Victory Medal and the British War Medal -- his medal index card shows the Rolls number and page number for the Victory Medal and immediately underneath are 'ditto marks' for the British War Medal.

Just to confirm mmm45's assumption this is the page from the 168 Bde. diary.
Th 14 London Scottish (which was in the 168 Bde.) diary for this period hasn't survived.

From what I can find on the National Archives for war diaries, the diaries for the 1/14 London Regiment (London Scottish) have survived. The diaries can be seen and downloaded free of charge after free registration by the link below:

I have attached images of the front of the diary for November 1918 and also the pages from 1 November to 7 November 1918 (courtesy of the National archives, free of charge)
