Hi,

Please coukd someone help me with a birth year for...

James Digby born 9th May 1722 and baptised 11th May 1922 in Belchamps Otten *he went on to marry Margaret Cooke.

Parents Janes and Sarah.

The only James and Sarah I can find married 5 years later (Sarah Beerman) and there son Janes was born in 1730 and died 1733.  They then had another Son James after this.

Pre-1837 births were seldom recorded ;)
What you will find are baptisms - which may also record a birth date.

The names, dates and parents are correct but the place is Belchamp St Paul
