Title: RAMSDEN Frank Edwards Sherinham Norfolk Coastal Protection
Post by: Jean M on Tuesday 29 November 22 10:55 GMT (UK)
Morning searchers,

Seek a helping hand to confirm my grandfather’s military service.
Born August 1877 Tenterden, Kent
Had married and suggest his enlistment therefore after June 1916.
Survived the conflict and is listed in Census 1921 Silvertown, London E.
Few clues except Sheringham, Norfolk for duties or period of
convalescence.
Replies most welcome
Jean M

Public tree(s) on Ancestry suggest that he was a Gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery, 176702. Army records have not survived, other than medal roll entry and index card.

On the medal roll he's Frank Edward Ramsden.

RGA would tie in with coastal protection
