Morning searchers,
Seek a helping hand to confirm my grandfather’s military service.
Born August 1877 Tenterden, Kent
Had married and suggest his enlistment therefore after June 1916.
Survived the conflict and is listed in Census 1921 Silvertown, London E.
Few clues except Sheringham, Norfolk for duties or period of
convalescence.
Replies most welcome

Public tree(s) on Ancestry suggest that he was a Gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery, 176702. Army records have not survived, other than medal roll entry and index card.

ShaunJ thank you for your reply
I have found the digital image of Medal Card 176702
Unfortunately it shows Gunner Frank G RAMSDEN
Grandfather’s Middle name was EDWARDS.
He also served in the local Home Guard WW2
Your help much appreciated
