Hi all, I’ve been sent these letters by a distant cousin and he’s ask if I can help decipher them!
I think they all relate to the same thing, I can make out small parts, but not what it actually has to do with John Symons who wrote them.
I’ve picked out that it’s something to do with a Mr Eccles and a mortgage or the deeds for a house and lack of payment, John is in Toledo, USA and the house I think is in Ottawa, Canada where John previously lived.
I can make out the name Peter Frederick Hendricks in the letter that mentions selling the house.
If anyone can decipher or even tell me what’s going on it would be a great help, thanks.

Fantastic stuff, thank you. We have no idea what this actually has to do with John Symons as he was a stone mason! Think it may be church related as I think one of them says Luther Unitary in it!
So Mrs Eccles owns a house that, whomever the letters are too, has to pay the mortgage on? But Mr Heinricks wants to buy it? So if Mrs Eccles owns it, why does he ask the person if they are happy to sell it to Mr Heinricks?
Still confused just slightly less lol
