Title: Cornwell Family

I am looking for any relations and descendants of a Mary Cornwell who was b.1742 in Fulbourn, St. Vigor, Cambridgeshire, England. Daughter of John and Ann Cornwell and was married to a William Covel. So any help and information would be most welcome.

I cannot find any images on line to the actual Parish Register, however there is access to transcripts of these on family search.

Mary dau of William & Sarah Cornwell was Baptised 14th January 1732/3.

William Covel= Mary Cornwell in 1756.

Starting in this year, looking for Baptisms the first I found was

17.6.1759

Mary & Elizabeth dau of William & Mary Covel

If born 1742 she was only 14 when married?



FreeREG has Mary/Elizth 1759 as stated by Spendlove + Eliz 22 Jun 1760
(both Eliz may have been buried 16 Aug 1759 and 31 Jan 1761)

Up to 1929 a girl could marry at 12,a boy at 14.life expectancy early to Mid 30s.There are several Cornwell trees all related. Do a search, welcome as a fellow family member

Mary CORNWELL (born 1742 Fulbourn) the daughter of John CORNWELL & Anne (COLE) married Edward HANCOCK in Fulbourn on 17 Oct 1768. She was 2C1R to the Mary CORNWELL (born 1732 Fulbourn) the daughter of William CORNWELL & Sarah (BLACKLOCK) who married William COVEL in 1756.
