Title: Gordon Highlanders in Horncastle ,Lincs
Post by: gwilk on Saturday 12 November 22 16:07 GMT (UK)
During the early years of WW2 I believe the Gordon Highlanders were stationed in or around Horncastle, Lincolnshire. Can any one shed any light on this please.

Thanks   Graham

Mention in this interview of them being stationed in Woodhall, interviewee also mentions Kirkby on Bain so that sounds like the Woodhall near Horncastle going by a map (there's quite a few Woodhalls).

Maybe a query to the Gordon Highlanders museum might help with more details.
