Title: House Furnishers - North London 1939 - 1950

I am looking for details of House Furnishing companies operating in North London - possibly Finchley - between the taking of the 1939 Register and Electoral Roll in 1950.
Any ideas where I might find them?

Thanks for the thought - I was/am hoping that there may be some more relevant directories for that period on line but as yet i haven't found them. If nothing on line a trip to a Local Studies Section an a n London library will probably be needed.
