ERNEST JONES died on 30 March 1920 after service with the Manchester Regt. Aged 36, he was the son of Robert and Sarah Jones (both deceased) and the brother of Catherine Jones of 17 Hanbury Street, Miles Platting. Ernest died at that address which seems likely to have been the family home. If that assumption is correct it is likely that the parents will have been buried locally.
Does anyone know where ERNEST JONES is buried? I would be grateful for any information.

Baptized 21 January 1884 born 10 January 1884 - Victoria Hall, Ancoats - Wesleyan
son of Robert and Sarah
-
Wesleyan might be complicating things.
And Ernest doesn't show up on a search of the Manchester online burials?
The probate record might provide a scrap more info
-
His brother Samuel Edward who was born and died 1876 is buried Philips Park Cemetery, Miles Platting
Plot G non conformist 485
-
Interesting.
You would expect his parents to be there too?
-
I have a great uncle buried at the Wesleyan chapel on Hyde road near the junction of Chapman Street, so he isn't in a municipal Cemetery.
-
There are 3 Robert Jones in non conformist graves but no birth year so difficult to determine who is who.
The same for his wife Sarah.
Perhaps if "trevalyn" knows what year the parents died we might find them there or elswhere
