Title: Reginald Willie Miller
Post by: grossan on Friday 21 October 22 11:14 BST (UK)
I need help to find possible records of Reginald Willer Miller, born 1.11.1893 in Essex, England.   I have a photo of him in what appears to be naval uniform  rumour has it that he was served in Scotland in about 1917/18 - in Greenock/Gourack area.  Is anybody able to kindly help with my query
With thanks

Thank you ShaunJ - a start for my search but do I have to be a member of Findmypast to view what you have posted?   I have a photo of my man but not sure how to post it here!!

Yes, you do need a subscription to see the image of his registration card, but apart from the photograph which you may not have seen, the only other information on the card which may possibly be new to you is his identity certificate number 105620, the fact his rate was 4th engineer, and that he was born in Ilford, on the date that you already know. Both he and his father were noted as British.

Thank you Andy J2022 for your reply.  Each little snippet of information will, I hope, help me to fill the big picture in my quest.  I think he may possibly have been on HMS Columbine in Scotland in 1917/18 - just have to find the right source to verify.
