I think it's an 'n' at the end - compare it to the 'n' at the end of 'Thomson' above it.
So it starts with an 'L' and ends with an 'n'.
The second letter is most likely an 'o'.
The third letter doesn't tally with any other letter on this clip. Can you see a similar one anywhere else on the page?

I see Lun.  Maybe a misspelling of Lunn?
