In a November 1919 issue, William Willmott (or Willmot or Wilmot) Mawson is referred to as having an OBE

I've tried working backwards from that to find the OBE award date, but don't seem to be having any luck.
Can anyone else find it for me, please?
Many thanks

Have you also seen that he was Mentioned in Dispatches, recorded in the Gazette 22/5/1917 Vol 30086 page 5030?

Yes, I'd found that, thanks. It was just his OBE date that was eluding me! I must confess though that I don't find the London Gazette the easiest thing to search. ::)
